if this isn't a marker of a new age and generation I don't know what is. while I'm not necessarily supporting excluded one particular race from your quest for love, this conversation did bring some sort of smile to my face (then again I typical sit by the table full of college republicans... which seems to be the whole university given there is no college dems organization here).
I'm all about interracial dating cause I know people are slow to work towards change until an issue affects them personally (i.e famous folk who suddenly are donating money to research a disease when a family member diagnosed). In other words, when their daughter brings home a black man (or women for that matter) or even 'worse' a bi-racial or multi-racial child that will def. put race in the forefront of family conversations. When people are forced to deal with race and racism - a child devastated by her peers reactions to their relationship or seeing the treatment their multi-racial grandchild receives, can and will change minds like no other... so go head girl who appears to be white and date every color under the sun and go head girl who appears to be black and marry a white, Latino Asian or American Indian... your openness to love (or sex, i ain't hatin') can bring us closer together
